Technical terms can often be misinterpreted due to pronunciation or homonyms. By using the "Transcription Dictionary" and "Translation Dictionary," you can ensure specific words are transcribed and translated correctly. Settings applied here will be effective for all workspace members.

Types of Dictionary

Types Explanation
Transcription Dictionary A dictionary used to correctly transcribe words by registering the word's notation and its reading (katakana pronunciation). By registering words that are frequently misidentified, you can force the system to convert the displayed transcription.
Translation Dictionary A dictionary used to appropriately translate words registered in the Transcription Dictionary into other languages.

How to Use the Transcription Dictionary

1. Open the Dictionary Function

After starting transcription/translation, click the Dictionary Icon in the upper right corner.

2. Register Words

Registering via the Screen: Enter the "Custom Word" and its "Pronunciation," then check the actual transcription result. After that, enter the misconverted word into the "Misidentified Word" field as shown in the image below.

Registering in Bulk via CSV File:

  1. Download the CSV template.
  2. Enter the "Display" and "Reading" of the words into the "Custom Word" and "Misidentified Word" columns of the template, respectively, and save the file.

To prevent character encoding issues, please set the file format (character code) to UTF-8 when saving the file.

  1. Upload the created file via "Import CSV." Note: Importing will overwrite your existing settings. If you have already configured settings, please make sure to "Export" them first to back up your current configuration.
  2. Click the "Save" button to complete the registration.

How to Use the Translation Dictionary

Registering a Single Word

Click the "Translation Dictionary" tab and set the word for each language as shown in the image. If you wish to use languages other than the default (Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese), please change the Workspace Language Settings.
