Productivity Management (Time Tracker・Online/Working Logs)

VoicePing has many tools that allow managers to measure the productivity of your team by tracking and viewing which members have worked how long on what jobs in what projects.

Online Logs

Online logs record the duration of time that members spend in the virtual office and the changes in their basic user status during that period.

Online Logs: Weekly Online Log Reports

The “Weekly Online Log Report” allows managers to check the time each user has spent in the virtual office in the span of one week.

  1. Click on the clock icon above the time tracker
  2. Click on “Weekly Online Log Report” under “Online Logs”

  • Search for Users
  • When searching for the work hours of a specific user, managers can enter their name or part of their name in the search bar under “Weekly Online Log Report”.

  • Period of Time
  • Under the “Weekly Online Log Report” next to the search bar, you can also choose for what week you would like to view the online log.

Online Logs: Daily Online Log Events

The “Daily Online Log Event” allows managers to check the changes in a user’s basic status during the period they are logged in.

  1. Click on the “Daily Online Log Event” under “Online Logs”
  2. Check the activity of users

You can select the date and time for change in each user’s basic status

Export Online Logs

VoicePing 2.4.0 allows managers to export Online Log data as CVS or PDF files.

  1. Click on “Export Report” under “Online Logs”
  2. Select the time frame and member of whom you would like to receive online log data
  3. Click on either “Export to CVS” or “Export to PDF” on the upper right corner of the screen

※ Multiple users can be selected.

Exporting online logs

The online log tool can be used for reference when writing invoices for part-time workers.

Working Logs

Working logs are records of the times that members have declared working times with the time tracker and shows what they have worked on for how long.

  1. Click on the clock icon above the time tracker
  2. Click on “Working Logs”

The record of when a user has turned the time tracker on can be checked by the day.

The basic structure of the “Working Logs” is similar to the “Online Logs” explained above.

However, for the “Working Logs”, not only can the user and time span be checked, but activity summaries of work contents within each project can be looked at as well. (Check video below)

  1. Click on the clock icon above the time tracker
  2. Click on “Working Logs”
  3. Click on “Manual Time Log”
  4. Chose appropriate time frame

Export Working Logs

VoicePing 2.4.0 allows managers to export work logs as CVS or PDF files

  1. Click on “Export Report” under “Working Logs”
  2. Select the time frame, member, and project of whom you would like to receive working log data
  3. Click on either “Export to CVS” or “Export to PDF” on the upper right corner of the screen

※ Multiple users can be selected.

Exporting working logs

The working logs can be used for reference when deciding personnel and budget allocation for projects and for 1-on-1 meetings between managers and employees.
