We have confirmed that VoicePing's real-time translation via audio extraction may not function properly due to Teams' PC audio system configuration. In such cases, you need to turn off the exclusive mode of the audio system using the following method:
- Open Sound settings → Advanced sound options
- In the Advanced sound options window, check the tabs at the top: Playback, Recording, and Sounds. In the Playbook tab, confirm that your audio system (speakers/headphones, etc.) shows a status of Ready/Default Device
- Right-click on each audio system that shows Ready/Default Device status in the Playback tab and click Properties
- Click on the Advanced tab from the tabs at the top: General, Levels, and Advanced
- Uncheck all options within Exclusive Mode
- Return to the screen with Playback, Recording, and Sounds tabs (screen from step 2), select Recording, and similarly right-click on the Ready/Default Device audio system. Use the same method to uncheck all options within Exclusive Mode
