Time Tracker and Work Efficiency Management

Time Tracker

The time tracking function in the upper left corner of the VoicePing app allows you to track what you are working on, and for how long.

This time-tracking function will help to increase productivity as it allows you to see how long you have been working on each task and project. The information logged is also used when members want to create invoices.

※ If the time tracker is not necessary, managers and workspace owners can hide the function. Please refer to the page below for details.

Select a Project

From the projects assigned to you by the manager, select the project you are currently working on.

Start the Time Tracker

  1. Click on the start button (if you are working on a specific task, enter that in the box below)
  2. Starting the time tracker

  1. Click the stop button to stop time tracking

Time Tracker: Automatic Start/Stop System

When the User Status is “Away”

If VoicePing detects no activity on your device for a certain period of time that the workspace administrator has set, your basic user status will be automatically changed to “Away” and the time tracker will stop. When you return to your PC and begin working again, the time tracker will automatically resume.

PC on Sleep Mode

When your PC goes into sleep mode, the time tracker will stop automatically.

When the PC is in use again, the time tracker will automatically resume.

Working Logs

  1. Click on the clock icon above the time tracker
  2. Go to “Working Logs”
  3. Check “Weekly Report” for an overview of how much time worked each day
  4. Check “Activity Summary” for a more detailed log of what tasks and projects were worked on

Edit Work Log

Add a New Work Log:

  1. Click on the clock icon above the time tracker
  2. In the web browser, click on “Working Logs”
  3. Click on “Activity Summary”
  4. Select the date
  5. Select the project
  6. Click on “Add Time”
  7. Add details of the work log
  8. Click on “Save”

Delete a Work Log:

  1. Click on the clock icon above the time tracker
  2. In the web browser, click on “Working Logs”
  3. Click on “Activity Summary”
  4. Select the date of the working log
  5. Click on the trash can icon next to the work log
  6. Click “Delete Time”

Export Work Logs

  1. Click on the clock icon above the time tracker
  2. In the web browser, click on “Working Logs”
  3. Click on “Export Report”
  4. Chose the time frame and project name
  5. Click on “Export to CSV” or “Export to PDF”
