How to Translate a Speaker’s Voice
- Launch the VoicePing App.
- Select the Translation Language.
- Microphone Icon: Speech-to-text language (speaker’s language)
- "文&A" Icon: Translation language (audience’s language)
Example: If you want to translate English into Japanese → Set the Microphone icon to English and the "文&A" icon to Japanese.
- Click "Start Recording" to begin.
- Adjust the VoicePing translation screen size, text size, and colors to fit the venue’s display. * For more details on the presentation subtitle feature, click here
- Unmute the microphone to start translation.
- When the session ends, click "Stop" to finish translation.
- Save the session by adding a title and tags.
How to Generate a QR Code for Audience Translation Access
- Click the "Share" button.
- Click "Download QR Code" to save the QR code to your PC.
- Share the QR Code with the Audience.
- When participants scan the QR code and enter, their names will appear in the participant list.
You can also check the number of participants via the "Share" icon. 💡 The "Remove" option allows you to remove participants from the translation channel.
[For Participants] How to Join a Translation Channel
- Scan the QR code and access the translation channel via your browser.
- You will see the following screen:
- “Your Name”: Enter your name.
- “Language that you want to see”:Select the language in which you want to view the translation.
- Once you enter, the following screen will appear:
- Change the translation language
- Adjust how the translation is displayed
- Adjust the reading speed
- Enable or disable the read-aloud feature
- Exit the session
From this screen, participants can:
